Reviewing and keeping it current
How you confirm or correct your company profile, how products are proposed, and how Skematic keeps the profile up to date.
Reviewing what Skematic found
What a build finds is to confirm until someone on your team looks at it. In Company, each section is a card: values to confirm are shown lighter, with the number left to confirm beside the section's name.
- Looks right confirms the section as it is.
- Edit (the pencil) lets you change the section's values in place; saving confirms it.
- Try again appears on a section that couldn't be read. It reads only that section again, from the pages the last build read.
Members, managers and owners can edit and confirm; changing the website, building again and Try again take an owner or manager. People with view-only access see everything. Every change is recorded, with who made it.
Products
Products found on your website or in AWS Marketplace are proposed, never added silently. Each has its own page: confirm it, edit it, or remove it.
- A product you remove isn't proposed again.
- A proposed product stays until you confirm or remove it, even if a later build doesn't mention it.
- You can add a product yourself.
Keeping it current
You don't need to rebuild your profile. Skematic keeps it up to date on its own:
| What | How often |
|---|---|
| Your AWS records (Partner Finder, Marketplace) and your maturity stage | Every week |
| Your website | Every month; if no page changed, nothing more happens |
What changes on a value nobody has confirmed simply updates. A value you've confirmed is never overwritten: when a newer read disagrees, Skematic shows both, was → is, on the section. Choose Use this to take the new value, or Keep mine to keep yours.
Changing your website
Giving a different website means a different company: what Skematic knew about the old one is set aside (kept in its history), the new one is built from scratch, and your confirmed products stay, to confirm again.
What stays a person's decision
Skematic reads, compares and proposes. Your team decides:
- what's confirmed, and what's corrected;
- which products are yours;
- whether a newer value replaces one you've confirmed.
Skematic only reads public sources and your own AWS records to build your profile, and never publishes anything about you.
