ACE status in your CRM
How AWS's review and the opportunity's progress in ACE appear on your HubSpot deals.
What you see on the deal
Once a deal is linked to an ACE opportunity, Skematic writes ACE's view onto the deal, in a property group called Skematic (AWS ACE):
| Property | What it shows |
|---|---|
| ACE opportunity ID | The opportunity's ID in ACE (for example O1234567) |
| ACE review status | Where AWS's review stands: Pending Submission, Submitted, In review, Action Required, Approved or Rejected |
| ACE stage | The opportunity's stage in ACE: Prospect, Qualified, Technical Validation, Business Validation, Committed, Launched or Closed Lost |
| ACE review comments | What AWS said, for example what to fix after Action Required |
| ACE last changed | When the opportunity last changed in ACE |
Skematic creates these properties the first time it writes to your HubSpot account. Use them like any other deal property: in views, filters, reports and workflows. For example, you could alert the deal owner when the review status becomes Action Required.
When it updates
- After every change in ACE, usually within a minute of AWS's decision (see How sync works).
- Only when something changed. Unchanged deals aren't touched, so your deal history stays clean.
- No echoes. Skematic never reads these properties back as deal changes.
Note: These properties are Skematic's to write. Editing them in HubSpot has no effect on ACE, and Skematic replaces your edit the next time the opportunity changes in ACE. To change the opportunity in ACE, change it in Skematic.
If a write fails
A failed write never affects ACE: the next sync tries again. If HubSpot needs reconnecting (for example after the app was uninstalled), the writes resume once you reconnect it.
