Emails to AWS sellers

How Skematic finds the AWS sellers on your deals, drafts one email each, and how you send them and follow up.

What they're for

Once AWS approves an opportunity you shared, it assigns AWS sellers to it. A short, specific email from you, covering all of a seller's deals and what you need from AWS on each, is how co-selling starts. It's a step of the ISV Accelerate playbook.

Open them from Co-sell → Seller emails in Skematic, or ask your AI assistant.

Who the sellers are

Skematic reads AWS's team on each of your approved opportunities from AWS Partner Central, with each sync. The sellers are AWS's sales reps and account owners. Each seller appears once, with all their deals (approved, and not yet launched or lost).

Until AWS approves an opportunity, there are no sellers to show.

How Skematic drafts them

Press Draft briefs, or ask your AI assistant. In about a minute, Skematic writes one email per seller (a brief) covering all of their deals:

  • each deal's customer, what they're trying to do, its stage, target close and ACE opportunity ID;
  • what you're asking AWS for on it, from the opportunity's "needs from AWS" (a solutions architect, help with pricing, a joint presentation), or to align on the account plan;
  • a line about what you do, from your super-power statement;
  • one clear ask, signed with your name.

It only uses what your opportunities and co-sell materials say, and leaves anything missing in [square brackets] for you to fill in.

Sending them

Skematic never sends these emails for you. They come from you, so the seller knows who to answer.

  1. Read the draft and edit it if you like.
  2. Open in email opens it in your own email program with the address, subject and text filled in. Or Copy it.
  3. Attach your one-pager, and send it.
  4. Mark sent in Skematic.

When the seller answers, mark Seller answered.

Follow-ups

If a seller hasn't answered five days after their brief, their card shows Follow-up due. Draft a follow-up writes a short, polite reply on the same thread, which you send the same way.

When every seller on your deals has their brief, the playbook step is done.

Members, managers and owners can draft, edit and mark emails. Viewers can read them.
